When we first partnered with Carfax we did not immediately realize the benefits of their program - (mainly because we did not have to pay for it :)) It was not until a few weeks later that customers mentioned they were thankful that we notified Carfax of work done on their vehicle - insurance, repairs, and maintenance. While we do keep records of our work for each customer, Carfax is seen as a great utility for vehicle ownership. Customers can easily pull up their vehicle history using Carfax which is useful for buying/selling/warranty claims etc, giving a person a complete picture of how the vehicle was owned and cared for. What we further did not realize is that customers could "rate" and "save as favorite" our shop. We are humbled by the responses and feedback and that Performance Auto Care was considered a top rated Service Center! Thank you to our great customers for trusting us with your vehicle and for letting others know about us ... read more

Here is another joint project with 510 Customs. Performance Auto Care helped fix an oil leak at the rear main seal while while 510 Customs focused on the "fun bits". Our partnership with 510 Customs gives our customers a one stop shop for their modified vehicle needs whether it be lifted off road vehicles, to lowered street cars.
Having been in the business for 10+ years, we often get customers new and current requesting modifications to their personal trucks. New light pick up truck purchases have been on the rise the last few years, reaching as high as 16.7% in 2019 and even increased 2% in April 2020 during time of pandemic, factory shutdown, and overall house lockdown. With the proliferation of trucks on the road, our customers see other trucks and either want to differentiate their truck from others, or even get inspired by another's "build" or "rig". With that said, there are so many different options for lift kits and body kits that we felt it may be helpful to put together a quick post to go over what we offer. With our partnership with companies like Offroad Warehouse, we can provide industry leading and customer proven "kits" to our customers to easily transform their rigs to meet their hobbyist lifestyle. All makes and models have options but we will f ... read more
After years of repairing his older GMC Sierra for a myriad of issues (don't fret, the truck had a bunch of miles on it!) one of our long time customers decided it was time for an upgrade to a 2020 Ford F150. He said now was a great time to buy as the COVID pandemic created economic uncertainty which then led car some car manufacturers to incent vehicle sales with great deals. As with many trucks and cars, customers enjoy customizing to make them stand out, and in this case..UP! We lifted this truck with Readylift's 7inch lift kit which included Bilstein shocks. The customer selected the Axe Wheels compression forged AX 2 wheels - a great combo and our first time fitting Axe wheels. Our partnership with Envue in creating www.510customs.com is already paying off as we are enabled to offer our customers great service and fantastic vehicle customization solutions at very competitive rates. Here are some pics from this project:

With the country slowly opening up from the Covid lockdown, many of our customers are wanting to return to regular life. Both you and I take our cars for granted and expect them to turn on with every turn of the key or push of the start button. However, sometimes when a vehicle sits for an extended period of time it may not be a bad idea to check the vehicle over before using the vehicle as we used to. This means to check the fluids, lights, tires, etc. - all of which is visually accessible when opening the hood of the vehicle or while taking a quick lap around. Here is a quick video that gives a general idea of what we want to look for and hopefully it takes away some of the "mystery" of the engine bay. Should your vehicle not start or make abnormal noises, it may not be a bad idea to call your local repair facility for a look over to ensure the vehicle is road ready. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions at 5 ... read more
